As you already know I am always searching for historic computing devices. Well last weekend I was able to pick up a working PDP11/73 machine with all of the original orange manuals. I drove to the panhandle (9 hours each way) to get it from Rick who was a high level government scientist.
The PDP-11/73 was the third generation of the PDP-11 series of 16-bit minicomputers produced by Digital Equipment Corporation. Introduced in 1983 with a clock speed of 15.2 MHz. It has two RL02 hard disks with exchangeable platters. Each platter holds up to 10 MB.
