Our Miami based client is looking to add a Sr SQL DBA to their team. Will consider someone either temp to perm or direct hire.
• Sound technical judgment based on at least 5 years of continuous and intensive hands-on DBA experience with SQL Server (v2005->2008)
• Experienced with streamlining operational/production DB support tasks including backup/recovery, user rights provisioning, index re-orgs, process monitoring, etc
• Advanced SQL Server problem and performance analysis skills including instance and SQL level optimizations.
• Positive customer service skills and personal initiative complimented by an elevated sense of accountability and urgency.
• Structured work philosophy founded on strict adherence to corporate direction and change management policy as well as a genuine appreciation for data security including 100% compliance with US laws and regulations governing data privacy.
• Working knowledge of Red Gate and Idera tools
• Expertise building and administering SQL Server clusters.
• Well versed with SQL Server transactional replication
• Familiarity with Oracle and SSIS is a major plus.
