Our client, a financial services firm, located in Palm Beach County is looking for experienced LAMP- PHP professionals to develop highly advanced enterprise quality web applications.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience with object-oriented PHP
- A solid understanding of object-oriented concepts, and experience employing them
- Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel (preferred), Symfony, Phalcon, Cake, Code Igniter, or others
- Strong skills with SQL, working with dozens of models and tables, subqueries, outer joins, analyzing query plans, performance tuning, proper selection of indices
- Experience building services and working with APIs (REST, JSON, XML)
- GIT with gitflow, pull requests,and multiple feature branches
- Experience working using agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
- Test-driven development using PHPUnit or phpspec
- Working with templates
- Maturity, responsibility, and dedication to building high-quality, reliable software
- Experience leveraging the best open source tools

PC Professor’s Microsoft school is now accepting grant applications and orientation registrations for the following hands-on, certification-preparatory classes — all of which are eligible for a 100% training scholarship if you are presently unemployed/dislocated, live in Palm Beach County, Florida and meet the training grant criteria.
Pre-approved preparatory certification programs for this new training grant include:
– MCSE Server 2012
– SQL Server 2012
– Web Developing (C#, ASP.net)
– A+ Computer Repair
– Webmaster (HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, SEO, WordPress etc)
– Microsoft Office Specialist (Excel, Access, Project, Quickbooks etc)
– CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
Qualified students will receive an all-expense scholarship to cover:Â tuition, registration fees, books, software, national certification exams and job placement assistance.
PC Professor is licensed by the Department of Education and is an authorized Microsoft IT Academy. We’ve been the leader in South Florida’s hands-on computer training industry since 1989. Our instructor-led, career classes begin weekly and are held at both our West Palm Beach and Boca Raton campuses. Sessions begin weekly and are offered on a daytime, evening or weekend basis. All career classes include phone support, refresher classes, lab time and job placement assistance.
