Global Azure Bootcamp 2015 – Fort Lauderdale and Miami – April 25

We’re ready for action!

Welcome to Global Azure Bootcamp! On, Saturday, April 25, 2015 we are out to set some records again!

In April of 2013 we held the first Global Windows Azure Bootcamp at more than 90 locations around the globe! In March 2014 we topped that with 136 locations! This year we are again doing a one day deep dive class to help thousands of people get up to speed on developing Cloud Computing Applications for Azure. In addition to this great learning opportunity we will have another set of hands on labs. In 2014 we pooled a huge global compute farm to perform diabetes research. This year everyone can participate in a compute pool for breast cancer.

SFTA – Collaborative Innovation – April 16

SFTA – Collaborative Innovation – April 16

This event dives more deeply into the issues and benefits related to collaborative innovation by bringing together a panel discussion featuring representatives from the full spectrum of the collaborative innovation ecosystem.

In today’s hypercompetitive environment, the speed by which a company can innovate is critical. Many organizations can’t afford to rely solely on their own innovative capabilities. Companies need to manage the tremendous risks associated with innovative activities.

Enter collaborative innovation.  It is built upon the premise that companies should not “go it alone” when it comes to innovation, but instead should license intellectual property from other companies, academic institutions, customers, and even competitors. This form of collaboration allows companies to innovate by sharing both the risks and the rewards of innovation while also shortening the innovation cycle.
