Our client, considered one of Miami's best companies to work for is looking to add a Sr Oracle RAC DBA skilled in database solutions analysis, planning, definition and business-technology strategy alignment and transformation.
• Experience in the administration of Oracle from installation and configuration to the logical and physical creation, support, and recovery of the database.
• Advanced knowledge of the database operating system platform such as UNIX and Microsoft Windows Server.
• Must have excellent customer focus with the ability to manage client expectations.
• Advanced project management experience required.
• Advanced system design skills, verbal/written communication skills, documentation and inventory skills, organizational skills, solid analytical skills, decision-making skills, and team player attitude required
• Must possess experience using technology to set and enable business goals; execution, technical feasibility, cost, and outcomes enabled by existing and new technologies.
• Will also provide support and mentoring in the adherence to Client’s IT project methodology, technology standards, systems and database architecture, etc.
• BS or BA degree in Information Technology field and a minimum of 4 to 6 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience as a Database Administrator.
• Occasional travel required through Dade & Broward counties.
• Rotational on call, 24X7 duties will be required.
