As security threats continue to develop and new trends are exposed that threaten our private and public sector entities, it is imperative that we stay current on Threats, technology and best practices to mitigate any potential loss and disruption. Speakers will represent all sectors and locations covering the challenges of preparing and defending the 21st Century threat landscape. This program will consist of speakers and panel discussions, upper level FBI, DHS, TSA and Industry Experts, who will address these issues and how the private and public sectors are preparing themselves against such threats.

The InfraGard South Florida Members Alliance has over 900 members. It is a part the InfraGard National Members Alliance, which is a network of 86 InfraGard Member Alliances with over 45,000 FBI-vetted industry professional volunteers serving as critical infrastructure subject matter experts in one or more sectors. InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the private sector InfraGard provides for a real-time exchange of information and expertise related to the protection of our critical infrastructure and key resources, the majority of which is owned and operated by the private sector, but protected by federal, state and local government agencies. InfraGard facilitates an environment to cultivate information sharing between the public and private sectors to strengthen the effort to protect the 18 DHS designated critical infrastructure sectors. InfraGard members also represent several other important key resources and market sectors, such as first responders, security companies, and educational institutions. Local and State law enforcement figure prominently into InfraGard’s membership as well.
InfraGard members are aligned by sector for the critical information protection roles they play and form a comprehensive risk management framework for the continuity of the critical infrastructure and key resources of Public – Private Sector Security.
