Technology entrepreneur and philanthropist Hank Asher died Friday at 61. Asher was the mastermind behind Database Technologies and Seisint, data-mining companies that were sold for hundreds of millions of dollars. In late 2008, he started Boca Raton-based, data-mining company TLO. John Walsh, host of “America’s Most Wanted,†credits Asher as having “single-handedly changed the way law enforcement globally hunts for child predators on the Internet.â€More..
