Our client is a social mobile game startup — in search of a lead front end developer.

Responsibilities
Translates designs provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.
You’ll be expected to help keep an eye on how the codebase is growing and assist with changes / additions to keep it manageable yet support new features.
Develop technology to improve security, data protection, and to prevent cheating / hacking / fraud.
Roll out new, backwards compatible features, bug fixes and performance enhancements without causing downtime.

Essential Skills
Front-end web development experience in HTML / CSS3 / JS using client side frameworks such as Backbone.js or Angular.js as well as packages like Bootstrap and jQuery
Proficient in at least one dynamic language and application scale development with an accompanying web framework, preferably JavaScript and Node.js
Well-versed in all things HTTP, RESTful API design principles, scalability and security concerns
Experience in data modeling for relational and non-relational databases, preferably MongoDB and Redis
Experience with front-end MV* frameworks
Adept at working in *nix environments
Thorough grasp of MVC architecture and design patterns
Self-motivated, proactive and engaged approach towards the project
Comfortable working on an agile and collaborative team
Generalist attitude, adaptable and flexible
