Miami based Fortune 100 firm is looking for a Project Manager with 7-10 years functional expertise  to lead Software development projectrs.

 

Principal Project Manager with VERY strong ORACLE experience

 

Handle all processes within the entire project lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, monitor & control, close).

 

Experience with large and complex development projects, development methodologies, languages, hardware, software, Oracle financials, Oracle ERP, Oracle tools, process mapping and business process re-engineering, business application projects, change control principles and usage.

 

* Manage the delivery of enhancement releases and large scale projects including; develop project plans, schedules and budgets; manage project risks and issues; facilitate regular project status meetings; document and communicate key project decisions; provide weekly status reports to Management; effectively manage scope and change control.

 

* Assist in establishing standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation and process improvements using SDLC methodology..

 

* Act as liaison between the Business Lead and cross functional teams.

• Strong business acumen

• Solid understanding of accounting principles

• PMP certification is a plus

• 6 Sigma certification is a plus

 

INFORMATION PROCESSING:

* The PM is also required to ensure regular status updates from developers, QA and functional analysts in order to accurately provide status reports.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

* Experience in managing teams ranging from 5-10 members

* Projects managed should have significant business process impact.

* At least 7-10 years project management experience

* Demonstrated full project lifecycle experience (e.g., proposals, requirements, development, testing, deployment) for at least 3 projects of 6+ months duration and >$1M total cost.

* Experience working with senior management in scope management, reporting on project status, issue escalation, risk management.
