• Solid understanding of data: how to organize it, how to model it, how to distill insights from it, and how to visualize it
• Ability to draw connections and understand the “why†as well as the “what†in the data
• Good technical, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Eagerness to learn and ability to adapt
• Ability to work independently—multi-task –organized
• Strong quantitative, data tabulation and analytic skills
• Demonstrated keen sense of detail and accuracy
• Solid communication skills (interpersonal, written and oral)
• Visualize results of data integrity analyses in the form of reports, graphs, charts, tables and scorecards
• Troubleshoot, document and work to resolve production level data issues
• Development of functional, business and technical requirements to ensure that all data related requirements are met
• Provide data validation and data quality support throughout the QA testing phase
• Develop ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by the business and technical teams
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Excellent SQL skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with data warehouse design principles
• Experience with MicroStrategy a plus
