Our client in the Financial Services industry is looking for a Technical Writer – someone who has extensive experience in writing corporate manuals that cover processes, procedures, user guides and RFP responses. The candidate must be able to provide work samples. This will be a 3 month contract, compensation will be as per the experience.
Job Duties

Responsible for creating content for Technical Knowledgebase, which include technical documentation of the code base, deployment runbooks and troubleshooting notes.

Responsible for creating templates for client and internal office notifications and office manuals.

Responsible for creating documentation of software code, website interfaces and database.
Requirements
-
Must have mastery in writing and its interplay with visual and spoken forms.

5+ years of experience in technical writing or similar role.

Must be extremely proficient with advanced MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Excel (especially Charting), Photoshop and other tools.

Must have extensive experience and skillset to create flowcharts, Visio diagrams as required.

Must have proven experience in structuring content to be visually appealing, intuitive and clear.

Proven experience in corporate communications, internal and external, including writing bulletins to clients is a plus.
