Creative and technical Front-End Web Developer to design, create, and implement front-end web applications integrating them into CMS systems, shopping carts and other back end systems, focusing on the end user experience and usability. Stay current with latest technologies & industry trends.
• 3-5 years of related experience required
• Bachelor's’ degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript (jQuery, Node.js, Angular) with familiarity of GIT, github and Jira; PHP and MySQL a plus
• Demonstrated experience with CMS systems (dotCMS, WordPress, Drupal)
• Experience with Front-End Frameworks such as Bootstrap is preferred
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, debugging, responsive design, UI/UX, QA/QC, A/B testing, testing for usability/performance, web analytics and SEO best practices and standards
• Excellent communication and time management skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud; a strong design (web & responsive background) is a plus
Responsibilities:
• Work with content creators, designers, developers and management in creating web properties
• Build wireframes, web designs and prototypes of user interfaces for web-based projects
• Create properties heavily focused on user experience and tested for cross-browser compatibility and optimized for SEO and accessibility
• Experience utilizing responsive frameworks (Bootstrap) to facilitate workflow and viewing experiences across multiple browsers and devices (desktop, tablet and mobile)
• Must have a versatile attitude and self-motivated to succeed.
Position is in the Miami area-in an informal office–working on new development. All work must be done onsite.
