The Oracle Solution Architect will orchestrate all architecture efforts under a new enterprise transformation project. This includes architecture design for Oracle EBS, other core applications & 3rd party apps, including the Oracle BI platform.
You will have demonstrated a passion for inspiring new ideas, mentoring, and designing architectures and applications that are scalable, of high quality and reusable. Need to be a proven leader who combines technology know-how with a strong business foundation and has expertise in improving productivity, driving customer satisfaction, and maintaining technology and security controls. The position requires multiple years of experience leading teams in a fast-paced, global technology company.
Responsible for the (timing, budget, quality, completeness) of multiple teams. Provides guidance and in-depth technical/business expertise on complex technical and management issues and adds measurable value through planning, coordination and/or communication.
You must be a proven technologist, possess development/delivery expertise and strong client relationship management, be a collaborative team member, and ignite passion within the team to build flawless applications.
This is a position for a senior individual contributor. The incumbent has in-depth knowledge, skills and expertise in their own discipline and other disciplines of relevance. The position knows how their discipline interrelates with other parts of the company.
• 6+ years of leading or architecting enterprise-wide set of solutions
• 3+ years of experience leading a development team in an internal and external IT organization.
• 6+years designing/developing and enterprise wide architecture that leverages Java, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Middleware, enterprise security, and infrastructure domains.
• Experience with systems processing high volumes of transactions
• Design and development experience using stateless, parallel processing design patterns
• Experience with Order to Cash integrations with Oracle e-Business Suite
• Experience with Service Oriented Architectures in a real-time high volume environment
• Has a strong understanding of Amazon Web Services
• Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and readiness to learn the operational details of a global company with a unique business model
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science — Master’s Degree preferred
Lead the architecture team that will be redesigning the underlying systems and infrastructure that will support the new business systems for the Transformation Project.
Lead a team of cross-functional architects that contain expertise in Java, PL/SQL, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Middleware, enterprise security, and infrastructure domains.
• Partner with other Solution Architects development team and operations staff, advocate IT organization's technical standards and arch vision to ensure long term roadmap integrity.
• Design efficient technical systems and engineering processes that enable the business to improve its gross margin.
• Participate as a leader to define and implement the new IT development standards
• Help set the technical direction for the team, drive the evolution of the enterprise architecture, and make appropriate technology choices for the Transformation Project.
