SR Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support an application development team. Responsible for executing functional, regression and system integration testing for Custom Applications, Oracle Applications, Web-Sites, and Web. This position is for someone with at least 8 years’ experience beyond a formal education. Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Lead the definition of test requirements, test design, and test plan reviews with focus on matching software features to user requirements.
• Eliminate and document defects ASAP
• Act as Test Coordinator, gathering test data requirements, set-up and gathering results for metrics management.
• Create statistical Reports of all releases including Quality Metrics Report in accordance with department policies.
• A minimum of 8 years of SDLC with an understanding of programming languages, such as Unix, JAVA, and Oracle preferred
• 5 + years of demonstrated comprehensive understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
• Demonstrated experience with techniques of problem identification, documentation, resolution, and testing with automated systems, and web-based, relational database software.
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience e with JavaScript, HTML, UNIX scripting, SQL and XML to help troubleshoot problems and to assist in creating technical scripts.
• Experience in coding in Java, JSP and PL/SQL to augment QA's ability to perform/participate in code reviews
This is a fulltime permanent position. Client is based in Miami & all work must be done onsite.
