Have you planned & implemented Project Server 2013 to work seamlessly with SharePoint 2013? If so our Miami based client, would like have you work with their PMO office in order to have both SharePoint and Project Server working collaboratively with each other at an application level.
This is a complex application installation in order to verify that all the required components are configured to work with each other in a seamless manner. Moving to Project Server 2013 will also free up the SQL Server where Project 2010 is currently residing.
This statement of work is being drafted to acquire an outside consultant with the work experience to perform the following:
• Perform Infrastructural Assessment – project server setup such as but not limited to:
o Hardware requirements
o Application Server Requirements
o SQL Server Requirements
o Active Directory Requirements
o Exchange Server Requirements
o Desktop Requirements
o Applications security environment
• Installation and configuration of the Application Tier:
o Project Server 2013
o Project Server Interface
o Project Server 2013 Events service
o Project Server 2013 Queue service
o Any applicable work flows
• Integrate setup with:
o SharePoint Server 2013
o Exchange Server
o SSRS
o Other applications
• Work with PMO Staff to perform the following:
o Incorporate PMO Site in new structure
o Work to migrate the task list projects into Project Web App
o Analyze the proposed functionality in Project Web App to implement what the PMO currently considers pipeline
o Establish Reporting needs
o Setup Administrative and Service Accounts
o Knowledge transfer
The PMO will provide the necessary requirements in order to implement and configure all applications to meet the objectives of IT-PMO. The PMO staff will act as liaison between the consultant and all IT departments necessary to complete the project.
